A few days after the publication of the tables of BoP for the Hypercar class, the Federation also releases those relating to the LMGT3 class. As for the premier category, compared to the Spa Francorchamps race numerous changes have been made to all the cars, both in terms of power (the values reported in the table with the letter P are between 0 and 15, where zero represents the maximum power and each number more the 1% less power), both in terms of weight and energy available for stint.
Generalized weight increases: Lamborghini and Lexus the heaviest and decrease in available energy; McLaren and Ferrari with less MJ per stint.
24H Le Mans: details of the changes made team by team
- Aston Martin: it goes from a power of P15 to P13 below 200 km/h (increasing it compared to before) and does not undergo percentage variations above. Added 12 kg to the minimum weight. Instead, the energy available for is decreased from 690 MJ to 682 MJ stint;
- BMW: the available power remains unchanged below 200 km/h, while it is decreased by one percentage point above, going from 2% to 1%. Add 3 kg of ballast and the available MJ goes from 688 MJ to 677
- Corvettes: power is increased going from P5 to P4 and is decreased above 200 km/h going from having a positive value of +1% to -2%. He undergoes a weight increase of 11 kg and a reduction of 15 MJ;
- Ferrari: Power is increased by moving to P13 from P14, but is further decreased above 200 km/h by moving to a negative value of -2%. There was little weight gain, only +2kg. The MJ per stint has also decreased for them: -9 compared to Spa;
- Ford Mustang: increase in power – 2P below 200 km/h, while experiencing a decrease in 1% above. Even they are not exempt from the weight gain, going from 1318 kg to 1327 kg. The MJ available per stint decreases from 692 MJ to 683 MJ;
- Lamborghinis: they suffer a reduction in power by applying the maximum available P15 value but are rewarded above 200 km/h by going from a percentage decrease of -3% to -1%. They also undergo a huge increase in weight: +25 kg, now becoming together with the Lexus the heaviest car of the lot with a minimum weight of 1355 kg. MJ also decreased for them: -7;
- Lexus: increase in power going from P5 to P4 below 200 km/h, while it does not undergo variations above. The minimum weight increases by + 10 kg and the available MJ decreases from 701 MJ to 694 MJ;
- McLaren: power remains unchanged below 200 km/h and is decreased above, going from a percentage variation of +1% to 0%. Slight weight increase of only 6 kg and a strong reduction in MJ, now being the team with the least availability with 662 MJ per stint;
- Porsche: increases power from P4 to P3 and is decreased from +2% to 0% above 200 km/h. Weight increase of 1 kg and also for them a notable decrease in MJ now at 674.
On Sunday the cars will be involved together with the other two classes that make up the 62 participants in the 24h of Le Mans in the two prologue sessions that precede the start of the official sessions. The Federation will therefore have the opportunity to verify the changes made in the field and possibly adjust something before the start of FP1.
