The Monaco Grand Prix concluded which saw him triumph for the first time at home Charles Leclerc. Attempts to attack Oscar Piastri were useless: you cannot pass through the streets of Monaco.
It was a smooth race for the Woking team's drivers. Just as they left, they arrived. A great Oscar Piastri, who tried to mislead the Monegasque Ferrari driver, took the second step of the podium. Fourth Norris.
Here's what happened in today's race: at the start the Australian skates a bit and favors Carlos Sainz's attack at the Sainte-Dévote.
On this occasion Sainz touches the bottom of Piastri's car and comes out with a puncture. The race was then stopped with a red flag due to the accident between Haas driver Magnussen, Perez and Hulkenberg.
Before the second departure all drivers, including the McLarens, unmarked the tire for the mandatory stop. In the end it turned out to be a tire management race.
Let's see the words of the McLaren protagonists in detail.
Piastri: “Leclerc fantastic all weekend”
Nothing to do for McLaren's Australian talent. Leclerc was fantastic all over weekend, he was able to capitalize on everything by setting the fastest lap on Saturday and then managing it in the race.
Piastri's attempts to put him under pressure were in vain.
“Special race. The pace was incredibly slow at first. In the end it was a good result, we were strong in the last races, but we didn't get the best result."
“Nice to make the podium here. To be honest, Charles was fantastic all weekend. We would have needed something very special if we wanted to defeat Leclerc in qualifying."

Norris: “Little action due to the red flag”
Not even Lando Norris managed to defeat Sainz's other Ferrari. The English driver approached and moved away from the Spanish driver to let the tires breathe, but there was nothing to be done: in Monaco it is difficult to overtake.
”The red flag simplified things and made the race less eventful than what normally happens in Monaco. Good result for the team, but we couldn't do more today."
“You're always thinking about what you should or shouldn't have done, but it's impossible to answer correctly. We did everything we could, the pace was good, let's continue like this."
