Miami International Autodrome – USA

The grand prize of You love me and the choice of its location derive from a synergistic work between the organizers, Liberty Media And Apex Circuit Design. At first it was considered possible to host the event in the city of You love me per il campionato 2019. In seguito ad alcune complicazioni dovute ai piani di costruzione e sviluppo del tracciato nella zona del porto e a ulteriori problemi burocratici, è stata presentata una proposta per una gara nel 2021 all’Hard Rock Stadium. The current configuration features a track made up of 19 curves with the stadium in the centre.

Miami enters the F1 calendar starting from the 2022 championship via a ten-year contract. The track therefore becomes the eleventh US location to host an event after Formula 1 returned to American soil in 2012 with the United States Grand Prix which still takes place today Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

The Grand Prix, for the 2022 edition, is officially named Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix for sponsorship reasons. The 2023 edition set a record of 270,491 spectators during the race weekend, beating the previous record of 242,955 spectators recorded in the inaugural 2022 edition. In 2024 it will host one of the six scheduled Sprint Races.

L'Hard Rock Stadium it is the centerpiece of the 5.41km layout comprising 19 corners, three straights, three DRS zones and top speeds of over 340km/h. There are also elevation changes, the main one of which is between turns 13 and 16, with the track climbing onto an exit ramp over uneven terrain. The chicane of turns 14-15, however, has an uphill approach, with a crest in the center, and then descends at the exit.
