Lewis Hamilton he has always been a character who divides public opinion: there are those who idolize him and those who can't stand him. Either you love it or you hate it. This happens both on the track, an area in which fans are thrilled by his victories and his records, and off the circuits, where opinion is divided when it comes to the Englishman.
Much can be said about this pilot and the path he chose to follow in his life, but he certainly cannot be accused of a lack of coherence and solidity of principles. He has always followed his own path, conveying important and fundamental messages for many, such as issues relating to climate change and protecting the planet, as well as support for the rights of the marginalized.

Supporter of the movement Black Lives Matter, brought the topic of racism on the track of Formula 1 when he and 13 other riders knelt before the 2020 Austrian GP (and not only), sending a strong signal against the discrimination suffered by people of color.
Today the Mercedes driver does not stop promoting his idea of tolerance, inclusion and liberality, taking to the track for the Spanish GP with a helmet that conveys a clear and strong message: a rainbow and the words "Love is Love“. Love is love, regardless of its form and the gender of the people involved. It's simply love.
In a historical moment in which the seed of intolerance, exclusion and judgment is spreading like a dark spider's web and hatred towards what some consider not "normal" or in conformity with public morality is on the increase, it is not at all It's obvious that a public figure of Lewis Hamilton's caliber continues to proudly carry forward battles that should belong to everyone.

We live in dark days, years in which we are told that it would be right to divide disabled students into separate classes instead of supporting inclusion and teaching from an early age the beauty of supporting others rather than marginalizing them and leaving them behind. Days in which women must fight more and more for the sacrosanct right to decide about their own bodies. Days in which some claim the right to tell us who we can love without being considered deviant, sick or degenerate.
Welcome to Lewis who, challenging the powers that are darkening our lives, uses his privileged position in the media to send messages of light and colors like a beautiful rainbow.
