As well as Carlos Sainz (here are his words), Charles Leclerc also started his Miami Grand Prix weekend by referring to the aesthetic mutation of Ferrari which pays homage to the epic of North American Racing Team without disdaining a strong reference to the new title sponsor Hewlett Packard.
Speaking about La Plata Blue, the shade of blue that stands out on the SF-24's sidepods, Charles said: “This is one of my favorite colors so I am very happy to wear it. Of course, when you pass in front of a mirror and see yourself in blue, for a moment you think you're wearing the wrong clothes”.
“But every now and then it's ok to change even if a Ferrari can only be red, and as you can see the red SF-24 has remained even if we added a little light blue and blue here and there as well as the logo of our new title partner HP”.
Once the necessary historical-commercial operations were concluded, Leclerc concentrated on the expectations for the second sprint weekend of the year. “We believe we have learned some things in China, both in terms of preparation for the flying lap and in terms of working procedures when there is a Sprint”.
“With this format it will be fundamental to get everything right right away so as not to start at a handicap. We've prepared a lot, and I can't wait to get on track for a first check on last week's work”.
