Max Verstappen avoided a penalty before the Austrian Grand Prix even started. The world champion had been selected as one of five drivers to speak at the official FIA press conference at Red Bull Ring.
The driver arrived about 15 minutes into the session where he answered most of the questions, including confirming that he will still be at Red Bull in 2025 after speculation earlier in the season about his future.
Max was investigated for his late arrival by the stewards who, during the assessments, realized that he had had transport problems on the way to the circuit, with the team having already informed the FIA of the incident.
