A few weeks ago we talked about the 2025 calendar Formula E and the possible changes we could find in the new season. The first official draft will be presented in the coming weeks with new appointments. We start with a double date in the United States. Currently the American race in the electric category is held in Portland. The novelty for season 11 is the debut of the city of Miami as the second E-Prix of the States. The chosen location is 'Homestead–Miami Speedway. The race, however, will take place over a single day in April 2025.
Thailand also opens its doors to Formula E. The city of Chiang Mai will host a double header on a temporary city circuit. No information regarding layout or a concrete confirmation has yet occurred officially. However, it seems that the competition will take place within a festival dedicated to the environment.
The start of season 11 seems to be confirmed for the first Saturday of December starting from Brazil. It then continues in mid-January with the Mexican E-Prix.
There has been a lot of talk lately about how the Formula E calendar coincided with that of the WEC, leaving many seats uncovered and it seems that it could happen again next year. The two Berlin E-Prix could be moved to July, on the same weekend as the Endurance championship. Due to this problem, Formula E teams have started to require an exclusivity clause on the commitment of their drivers.
Pre-season testing will be held for three days in Valencia in the first week of November, there will also be a session dedicated solely to female drivers.
The fact remains that there is still no certain information on where the Italian event will be held. We just have to wait for the next few weeks to find out something more in-depth about it.
