This weekend will be particularly characterized by the roar of the engines: Formula E in China and Formula 1 on the historic Monte Carlo track.
As every time the two categories intersect, there is never a shortage of "bickering". We have often heard Formula One drivers express unflattering opinions on the electric championship and, in the same way, the drivers of the opposing faction did not hold back with comments on the premier category.
Judgments that now do not only come from the representatives of the two competitions, but also from the fans who express their opinion on social media. It is difficult to find enthusiasts who follow both.
At the gates of the first Shanghai E-Prix, Antonio Felix Da Costa, winner of the tenth round of Season 10, wanted to give his opinion on the matter.

“It takes different skills than other categories. There are many overtakings, flankings, close battles and just as many defenses. I don't want to take anything away from Formula 1 or the FIA WEC; actually I raced for a while in the Endurance championship and I liked it but I didn't fight with someone like I'm doing in Formula E. The same goes for Formula 1, I mean... We see drivers stay in first position from the start to the last lap“.
The Porsche driver sees the electric category as closer to the world of Moto3 than to a competition on four wheels.
“If we want to make a comparison, the FE looks a lot like Moto3, where there is a lot of trail and also different contacts. You choose how to fight with your opponents, but you also have to manage these situations and avoid being too impetuous with another driver just because you had an accident in the previous race. I try to have a clean race and avoid these situations because I know they could backfire on me. I treat you well if I want to be treated well “.
