Much has been said about the first victory on his home circuit - Monte Carlo - for Charles Leclerc. Today, five days after his triumph, marks the anniversary of another historic first time at Monaco Grand Prix.
On 31 May 1987 in his Lotus, Ayrton Senna won the first of six Monte Carlo GPs, a record which still remains unbeaten and which made the Paulista the "King of the Principality". Behind him, cohabiting, are two other masters of the Riviera circuit: Graham Hill and Michael Schumacher, at five.
